Introducing Racquel McDermott

Welcome! I'm so happy you're here!  A little bit about me: My roots are in Skagit County and the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  I have been serving my community, as a Realtor, since 2003. 

My family has been in Washington since the 1930's and ironically, my Great-Grandparents settled an adorable farm and their home eventually became the Sedro-Woolley Windermere office.  I have many fond memories there. 

Generosity and kindness are how I live my life, personally and professionally.  My favorite charities to donate to are: Skagit Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Services, and The Friendship House, as well as organizations that promote diversity and inclusion. 

I love being able to support, empower and encourage others to reach their dreams of home ownership, and invest in real estate which helps our community thrive in so many ways.  My background is in self-development (communication, goal setting, inner child work, self-care and trauma-informed) and life coaching so when difficulties transpire in real estate situations, I am able to use all my education and experience to keep your goals on track so there is a win/win for all parties involved.  I do not shrink away from uncomfortable conversations....communication in all things is vital for success. 

In my spare time, I love spending time with my 2 grown kids and my teenage son.  I enjoy traveling locally and beyond and have gone on several solo travels. The furtherest I've traveled, so far, is Portugual. I also enjoy time in nature, time with friends, stand-up comedy, and live music.  I love the opportunities that living in Skagit County provides me for my passions.
